Welcome to my favourite issue of the year – June. I love this month because it finally, truly feels like it is summer, and that means it’s time for my most beloved yearly activity… picnicking! How can you not enjoy picnics? They involve socialising with friends, indulging on great food and drink and revelling in the wonders of nature. I have even been known to partake in winter! If you’re a bit of a picnic novice though, don’t worry – you are in very good hands, as the Vegan Life team are here to share with you all our top tips and recipes, as well as ideas for thinking outside the box.
This month also marks the return of Vegan Life Live (June 11th – 12th), the biggest and best vegan event of the year, brought to you by the people who compile these very pages! There will be tasty food, refreshing drinks, mouth-watering cooking demos, informative lectures (with some very special guests) and a myriad of exhibitors all excited to be back at London’s Alexandra Palace. Make sure you read our preview guide to find out who will be there and how to get your hands on some tickets. We promise that you will not want to miss out.
