For Muhammad Ali, no fight was too big, inside or outside the ring. He won as much on guts and guile as boxing skill after his speed had deserted him and became, Ron Borges writes. More than just a great heavyweight champion, Ali became the self-proclaimed “Greatest of All Time’’ during a heavyweight era that really was the greatest of all time. The reality of the latter provided Ali with the stage on which he proved the wild boasts of youth were a promise he would fulfil. Throughout his life, which sadly ended on 3rd June 2016 after a year battle with Parkinson’s disease, Ali was many things to many people. A warrior, a great societal figure, but most of all a man who loved people. In this issue, we pay tribute to "The Greatest".
