Curtis Jones is the cover star of the official matchday programme for Sunday’s Premier League clash with Manchester City.

Inside the midfield man reflects on a whirlwind couple of months on a personal level and explains why the Reds are determined to build on a solid start that sees them go into the game against Pep Guardiola’s men with an eight-point advantage after a dozen matches.

We also hear from Curtis’s good friend Rayn Gravenberch who reveals why he is revelling in a new role as a number six, explains how he can keep improving and highlights his ambitions for the season,

We also have Arne Slot’s pre-match thoughts in his exclusive column alongside those of captain Virgil van Dijk.

Elsewhere, we get the pre-match thoughts of ex-Reds defender Gary Gillespie, bring you the latest from the club’s Academy and women’s teams and hear from Reds fan and emerging indie music sensation Sophie Morgan, aka Luvcat.

Elsewhere, we look back on Bill Shankly’s final trophy triumph with the Reds in 1974 and remember the career of ex-Reds defender Peter Wall who sadly passed away in October.

There is a quiz about centre-forward Darwin Nunez, a feature on the Reds’ no6s during the Premier League era and a look back at a letter which shaped the Liverpool FC future of the legendary Joe Fagan.
