Liverpool FC Programmes vs Nottingham Forest 26-27 Retour à l'édition précédente

The official matchday programme returns with a fresh new look for the opening home game of the 2026-27 Premier League season against Nottingham Forest.

Inside, midfielder Fiorian Wirtz talks about working under new head coach Andoni Iraola and also shares his thoughts on another summer arrival, winger and cover star Víctor Muñoz. We also hear from left-back Kostas Tsimkas on his return to Anfield after spending last season on loan at AS Roma.

Elsewhere, we have the pre-match insights of head coach Iraola as he takes charge of a Liverpool team at Anfield in the Premier League for the first time.

To mark the occasion, we look at six Spanish full-backs to represent the club and hear from Christian Rodriguez, a keen Red and drummer in Basque alt-rock band Lukiek, who discusses the region's arts scene and what it means to see Iraola at Liverpool FC.

Meanwhile, captain Virgil van Dijk shares his thoughts from inside the dressing room and we also hear the views of a Reds centre-back of the past, LFCTV co-commentator and pundit Gary Gillespie.

Following the sad passing of Kevin Keegan this summer, we continue to pay tribute to the legendary forward by putting the focus on the jersey he wore for his Anfield debut, fittingly against Nottingham Forest, back in 1971. We also hear about the impact he made at Anfield through the words of no less a judge than Bill Shankly, while matchday programme writer Chris McLoughlin lets us in on the day he gave King Kev a lift.

Next Tuesday will mark 120 years since Liverpool FC first played in front of what we now refer to as the Spion Kop. We recall the story of how one of football’s most famous stands came into being.

There is a round-up of the latest match action, an update from Liverpool’s women’s and academy teams plus some teasers for younger supporters with a focus on winger Rio Ngumoha who celebrates his 18th birthday on the day of the game.
