911 & Porsche World - The original and best Porsche magazine

For over 20-years now 911 & Porsche World magazine has been the enthusiast's choice for all things Porsche. It's a broad church too, from the humble 924 to the mighty Carrera GT, and in between there's the iconic 911 in all its forms, a car that will soon be celebrating 50 years of production and the inspiration behind our title. Add to that the new breed of Boxsters, Caymans, Cayennes and Panameras, plus the classics and the race cars too, and 911 & Porsche World has got it covered.

Not only that but 911 & Porsche World will help you get more from your Porsche. Yes, we can tell you how great they are to drive, but we can also help you keep your Porsche on the road too. No other Porsche magazine is as hands on, and the 911 & Porsche World team - from the Editor down - all drive Porsches too. We live and breathe the marque.

Feature cars; technical and 'how to' features; cutting edge comment; comprehensive news coverage; project cars; buyers' guides, reader profiles; classifieds and more - 911 & Porsche World is the only Porsche magazine you will ever need.

911 & Porsche World

November 2026 Every so often, Porsche uses the 911 Turbo to tell us where the company is heading. The 930, revealed in 1974, brought turbocharging from the 917/10 and 917/30 Can-Am programmes to the road at a time forced induction was still regarded as exotic and faintly dangerous. The 3.3-litre Turbo added an intercooler. The 993 Turbo introduced twin turbochargers and all-wheel drive. The 996 Turbo carried the model into the water-cooled era with a ‘Mezger’ engine drawn from Le Mans. The 997 Turbo arrived with variable turbine geometry, a first for any petrol engine. In every case, the technology looked startling on announcement, though unremarkable within a decade. The new 911 Turbo S continues the pattern. Its T-Hybrid system exists for performance, not economy, drawing on thinking developed for the 919 Hybrid (a compact 1.9kWh battery feeding two electrically assisted turbochargers and a motor within PDK). The result is 701bhp, making this the most powerful production 911 yet built, and a car dispatching turbo lag altogether. Some readers will note the eighty-five kilograms added by T-Hybrid. Some will question the point of 701bhp on the road. Both objections are fair, and both deserve testing. Our verdict starts on page 10.

The Pocketmags app runs on all iPad and iPhone devices running iOS 15.6 or above, Android 8.0 or above, and Amazon Fire Tablets from 2018 onwards, though owners of earlier Fire models can check the Amazon Appstore directly on their device to confirm compatibility.

For iOS users, we recommend using a device capable of running the latest version of iOS for optimal performance and stability, as older hardware with lower processing power and RAM may experience slower page rendering or occasional stability issues due to device memory limitations.
