The Rover 200vi is one of the most understated and unassuming hot hatches ever built. But don’t let its butter-wouldn’t-melt styling fooling you, because behind that chrome grille you’ll find a firecracker of an engine, used to great effect in the MGF VVC and Lotus Elise 111S.
