We dive into two lesser known crops with haricot beans on page 52 and hemp on page 57. They won’t be for everyone, but I find it fascinating to unpick the potential of niche crops such as
these. Mike Abram meets French pioneer Frédéric Thomas during a
BASE-UK trip on page 63 which makes for an inspiring read. Melanie reports from Lamma on page 78 which I have to say, after visiting for one of the days, was much bigger than I expected. It’s bitter sweet for me on page 89 where we pull together initial reactions on the loss of
mancozeb.
