What a magazine I’ve got for you this month; it just gets better and better. Cover story this month is a real success story for a good friend Ben Lofting. The capture of Hendrix ends a seven-year wait on his own water, Cleverley Mere, for the King of the Pond, one of the UK’s most gorgeous carp.
Once again we are privy to Terry Dempsey’s exclusive monthly diary and what a month he’s had on his new water in Kent. Numerous fantastic looking fish have been landed after giving the swim a severe de-weeding. Top of his captures include a 42lb common, a couple of immaculate, long, scaly crackers over 38lb and a one-eyed black monster of 41lb, and he hasn’t blanked all year. Not only that but his fishing friends have also been sharing in the action.
Dave Mallin is back again this month, this time with the story behind the capture of ‘Mallin’s Fish’ from Wraysbury… Unmissable. Jo Green starts her new series this month. She’s a fantastic angler with a string of big carp to her name from some of the toughest waters in the country – Horton this month and the Road Lake next time – a welcome addition to the Big Carp team.
