I love it when you come across a set of pictures that simply works on all fronts, and not only holds your attention but also intrigues you to the point where you feel compelled to look further just to make sure you don’t miss any of the subtle nuances that are in there. No doubt at all that Carl Warner’s food landscapes do exactly that, and they’re not only some of the cleverest still-life images I’ve ever seen.
