This month we’ve devoted the mag to the 1980s - a decade that was both a pretty important period and an exciting one for water-cooled VWs. To celebrate such a spectacular period, we’ve brought together a bunch of the best modified 80’s metal for your viewing pleasure, including Forest Benner’s amazing Mk1 Caddy, Bobby Mahi’s show-winning Mk2 Scirocco, John Vanek’s period perfect Mk2 Golf and Brandon Quail’s one-off, Berg Cup-kitted Mk1 Caddy running a 500bhp 1.8T motor. Elsewhere in the issue we’ve celebrated 20 years of the R Golf and we’ve wrapped with coverage from the last three rounds of the VWDRC.
