This year’s new tackle launches took a step away from the norm. Many major suppliers embarked on quarterly tackle introductions rather than attending the annual October/November trade shows to unveil next season’s wares, allowing manufacturers to keep up with all the latest trends Feeder fishing dominated the 2016 match scene, due in no small measure to the successful England Feeder Team, and many new feeder-associated items were seen from Preston Innovations, Drennan, Daiwa,
Guru, Matrix and MAP. Sales of original Continental groundbaits went through the roof, and watch out for new silverfish float and feeder rods
from Daiwa, Preston, Drennan, Maver, Sensas and Browning. We wouldn’t be at all surprised to see seatbox prices coming down, as many major tackle companies have new boxes to promote.
