In the August issue of AirForces Monthly (AFM) we celebrate the arrival of the F-35s to the UK. Our extended news pages include a map of their route from the US to Great Britain, reports of the F-35s displays at RAF Marham and RIAT. The summer marks the start of the exercise season for many air forces and in this issue AFM brings you three major reports: Red Flag in Alaska, which witnessed Indian Air Force Su-30s flying with USAF F-22 Raptors: Frisian Flag – Europe largest exercise with participants from the Netherlands, Norway, France, Finland and Belgium, and Alan Warnes reports from Turkey on Anatolian Eagle which is rapidly becoming one of the most significant training exercises in the world.
