Match Fishing Magazine September 2024 Edizione posteriore

Daiwa and England superstar Will Raisin is on the cover of the September issue as he makes a welcome return to our pages with a masterclass on catching F1s shallow. They don’t just give themselves up and you need to be thinking all the time to make the most of every session. Follow Will’s advice and you won’t go far wrong.

Also in this issue we follow paste master Joe Carass through a live match to see if his tactics can bring him victory, and discover how a top angler thinks and works through problems in the five hours, plus we have feeder and bomb features from Dave Wood and Matt Pillay, two experts at that game.

David Haynes concludes his conversation with match fishing legend Andy May and hears about his greatest win, and so much more, while Steve Gregory shows off an incredibly simple but effective tactic that brings him plenty of wins. On the pole front, Matt Powell catches silvers by the shedload at Patshull Park.

We’ve loads of advice and stories from our regular contributors Andy Power, who just can’t stop winning big matches, and Matt Godfrey, who details a World Championship victory with the Under 15s England team, while not forgetting team talk with Kye Jerrom and a veteran’s angle from John Brooks.

All this plus tackle reviews that include Daiwa and Shimano poles, Nytro luggage, MAP Method feeders and an interesting variation on the whip theme from Middy, together with a competition to win a fantastic Nytro seatbox worth £349.95.
