TOP TIPS FOR YOUR EVENING SESSIONS
In summer, short evening sessions can be great fun, just to get a bend in your
rod! We keep balls of paste prepared in the freezer, so that we can grab one and go. On hot days fish like a bit of cover, sticking just their noses out from under lily pads, or lying up underneath the bank with a bit of cover over their heads. When it is hot, have a quick walk round the lake and choose a peg with plenty of cover and features. This week we fished the top lake at the Wedgehill complex, controlled by Christchurch Angling Club. In in this issue Andy Browne shares tricks to boost your catches.
