Rugby League World Magazine 522 Retour à l'édition précédente

The Challenge Cup takes centre stage in the latest issue of Rugby League World as we look back on another unforgettable Wembley weekend. Relive Wigan Warriors’ historic double success in the men’s and women’s finals, hear the reaction from both camps and enjoy some of the best images from rugby league’s biggest day in the capital.
We also catch up with St Helens legends Jodie Cunningham and Emily Rudge after the pair announced that 2026 will be the final season of their glittering careers. The best friends and team-mates reflect on their remarkable journey together and their hopes of ending it with more silverware.
Elsewhere, Kevin Sinfield officially becomes Sir Kevin as we celebrate a richly deserved honour for one of rugby league’s greatest ambassadors. We also pay tribute to the late John Kear, whose passing shocked the sport and prompted an outpouring of affection and respect from across the game.
International rugby league is also firmly in focus. We assess the Women’s World Cup prospects of New Zealand’s Kiwi Ferns and meet Greek rugby league pioneer Johny Nake as he helps nurture the next generation.
There are fascinating features on the rebirth of Newcastle Thunder through the eyes of Brenden Santi, a nostalgic look back at Bordeaux’s rugby league heritage and the remarkable story of former Huddersfield and Oldham favourite Wally Gibson.
Packed with exclusive interviews, compelling features and stunning photography, this is another issue no rugby league fan will want to miss.
