Albert DeSalvo’s name is forever linked with the 60s “Boston Strangler” rapes and murders of living-alone middle-aged women – but was he simply a fantasist who sought infamy for the slayings? The beak-nosed charmer confessed to all the killings but was never actually charged. Today his confession is largely discredited. And DeSalvo’s brutal death behind bars in 1973 ended his part in the story. So if it wasn’t him, who was it? Read this issue’s “Who Was The Real Boston Strangler?” for the full story.

In “MD Forum – Twisted Tale Of The ‘Death On Demand’ Killers” this issue we look at the heinous career of hit-man Steve Homick and the deaths of a British-born US businessman and his wife in 80s LA.

And there are cases from Wigan, Brighton, Norfolk and Ayr, while European Crime Report tells of two French murders.
