Heavy Duty  |  Issue #209 Nov-Dec, 2026
Looking at the printed copy of HEAVY DUTY 209 on the desk beside my keyboard, all I’m seeing is bikes – nine of them. Four of the hottest customs matched by road tests of the Low Rider ST, 131-cube Breakout, Chief Bobber Dark Horse and Heritage Classic. All new and fresh 2026 models and put under the microscope.
The customs lead from the front cover with Josh’s FXRS and Sparky’s 30” Road Boss. The quality carries on with Dave’s Softail and hits another high point with Craig’s Billy Bike parked alongside his Captain America. Rounding that out is a perfect 1928 Harley 350 OHV single from The Harley City Collection.
Graham returned to Dubbo for Motorfest, in our opinion Australia’s premier regional show. And a few of us rocked up and supported United We Ride at our local Dealership.
Packhorse has been wheeled back onto the workbench to complete the fitting of the True-Track stabilisers. Read all about that in On The Tools.
Roothy has come up with another Weird quiz, and talks about the old days in Gripes of Rooth. Two things he does better than any other John we know.
Grab a copy now from better bike shops, or on November 9 from newsagents, across Australia and New Zealand.
