Before National Bus Company subsidiaries' coaches went all-white, down in the South West, NBC operators opted for a common, mainly white scheme, with each operator distinguished by a different broad band of colour around the vehicles. Martin Curtis examines this short-lived phenomenon before all-white consumed them to history. Then we have Mike Fenton’s next look at a classic coachbuilder, this time Wadham. Having focussed on Mann Egerton a couple of issues ago, in this issue we show its products with London Transport.

In our regular delve into The Bus Archive, we look at some old adverts that appeared to help sell buses. And more information has come to light about the trio of experimental Derby single deckers covered in a previous Bus Archive feature.
