The Bristol Blenheim was one of the most important Royal Air Force combat aircraft of the crucial early years of World War Two.
Not only did it represent the backbone of the light bomber force, but it also served as a night fighter during the Battle of Britain, undertook anti-shipping strikes and went on to serve with every RAF command in every theatre of the war. Blenheim later played an important, if unsung role, as a crew trainer.
