Woodturning is read by turning enthusiasts in over 60 countries worldwide and is packed with projects, features on turners around the world, tests and reviews, as well as news, letters and tips. Our projects cater for varying levels of ability, so there is something for everyone, from beginner to professional.

Projects in the June issue of Woodturning include a simple sugar bowl; a stunning sculptural piece; a decorative storage jar; a plywood bowl; and uses for your pen kit leftovers.

We'll meet the Kennet Valley Woodturners, and we've got another installment of Richard Findley's woodturning diary.

Techniques this month include the vacuum chucking method of workholding; sideways turning; and making the most of your wood by using up the leftovers.

Features will include a profile of innovative turner Rod Tallack, a 20 minute interview with turner of colourful pieces Alan Trout, and Hawaiian turner Mike Lee is our featured artist, with a piece incorporating milk paint.

In our kit & tools section we'll be looking at Milescraft pen press, as well as the Wiedemann WMSB hook tools.
