Inside issue 7 we are proud to continue with
our features on backroom staff, club supporters
and match day volunteers with articles on
Woking, Aldershot Town, Spennymoor Town and
Alvechurch to name a few. In this issue we also
have stories from ex-pats now plying their trade in
Latvia and America plus we have features on Welsh
League football for the first time.
We also speak to former Premier League players
Neville Southall, Gary Waddock and Julio Arca
all of whom have experience in the non-league
game. Former Wales keeper Southall won almost
everything there is to win as part of the great
Everton side of the 1980’s before trying his hand
at coaching in non-league football.
Argentinian midfielder Arca is
a legend of North-East football
having played the majority of
his career in the region for
Sunderland and Middlesbrough,
these days he is still playing in
the north-east for South Shields
whilst former QPR and Republic
of Ireland midfielder Waddock was the manager
who took Aldershot Town back into The Football
League as Champions.
