Teddy Bear Times | Issue 273
I was reminded a few days ago about how things were around this time of the year in 2020. The UK was enduring a second lockdown and there was talk of Christmas as we know it being cancelled to prevent Covid from spreading further. Many celebrations and events were cancelled - the festive season was definitely different that year.
Now of course, the majority of us are back to normal. Whatever the weather and wherever in the world you live, this is such a busy time of year for many people. One thing that Covid lockdowns did do is make everyone slow down a little and perhaps we should try to remember that every year, as the festive season can easily become overwhelming, especially when parts of the world are so troubled.
If you dislike the frenzy of busy shopping centres and traffic on the roads, we have the perfect antidote. Make your favorite drink, find a comfy seat and sit back and relax with your latest copy of Teddybear Times & Friends. You can indulge a love of Christmas on the gallery pages, and see how much it means to teddy bear artist Sandra Marie of Bear Hugs Originals who just loves to create holiday bears. There are plenty of other artist bears to admire, from the traditional to the more quirky, and of course there are the rescued bruins too, who always tug at our heart strings (well, mine anyway!).
Once again we have a beautiful teddy bear pattern for you to make, this time from the amazing Jean and Bill Ashburner of Bear Bits - a little experience is needed for this one.
I hope you find time to relax a little, enjoy the season and from all at TBT & Friends best wishes for the New Year!
Till next time
