There’s a definite nip in the air now, signaling the arrival of autumn – and I can’t wait! There are few things I find more satisfying than curling up with a chunky knit on my lap and a mug of piping hot tea by my side. If you too are in sit-and-knit mode, we have plenty of inspiring ideas in this issue.
You won’t go cold this winter; from the Wish Upon a Star sweater (page 50) to the Fairy Lights jumper, there are lots of fun knits for you to get stuck into. Last issue we had a feature on Gansey jumpers, and this month you can knit your own fisherman knit! If you’re not yet feeling the cold too much, the deliciously textured Gold Leaf poncho is a perfect stylish accessory to throw over your shoulders, and we’ve also got two classic bobble hats if you’d like a quicker knit!
