Life’s full of tough decisions, like whether you’d sooner have 55,000 penny sweets or an RSV Mille? I still can’t think what swayed it in the end, but I put my cash down on the Aprilia a few weeks back and it’s been littering my garage ever since.

In all seriousness, it’s a bike I’ve always wanted, and one I never imagined would come my way for just £550… but it did. Now all I need to do is get the bloody thing running, but I’ll leave you to read all about my many dramas in a few pages’ time. Have you ever had a bargain come your way? I love a good project, especially over the winter months, but they’re never
