John Harry – Big Carp Legend!

Before I get on to telling you what’s in store in this month’s very special issue of Big Carp, I’ve some fantastic news for those of you reading our highly popular Big Carp Legends series. Number eight in the series is none other than Savay supremo John Harry. John has been having it right off this past season on this historic venue, so much so that he chose to write up his last season rota by rota as his record-breaking season unfolded. I do not want to spoil it for you, but needless to say John latched on to a killer method and reaped the rewards in incredible style taking a huge amount of 35lb-plus and 40lb-plus lumps. You are not going to want to miss this – it’s pure history in the making. Last in the series will be Bruce Ashby, but unfortunately Bruce is not at all well, so no exact date has been set for its release.

The new ‘Carp Hunters’ series will soon be kicking off too. Ian Stott will be first later this year with Nick Nelleur, Craig Lyons, Jerry Hammond, Ed Betteridge and Leon Bartropp following behind – a fantastic series, I’m sure you would agree.

And so to this month’s special ‘Spring Edges’ issue, and the return of some old favourites. First up ‘The Traveller’, back with an awesome piece featuring two venues on the ‘top secret’ list – Bedfordshire’s Brogborough clay pit and the very difficult Cambridge venue, Long Reach. Both have been on Marc’s list, and success was hard-earned on these testing venues.
