The UK experienced an intense heat wave while we were hard at work on this issue, which felt extremely odd given the fact that we were writing about blooms ideal for the colder months! Now that we are heading straight into my favourite time of year, I was delighted when the fabulously festive nuptials of Joanne and Conor (page 30) caught my eye.
