Victoria Magazine French Cottage 2020 Sonderausgabe

In this edition of French Cottage—a perennial favorite Victoria Classics issue—Gallic homeowners invite us to explore sanctuaries where self-expression flourishes. One innkeeper and artist’s romantic oil paintings adorn the ancient stone walls of her bed-and-breakfast. A pair of chefs turned a waterside haven into the perfect venue for their catering business, while a fifteenth-century abode offers ample quarters for an entrepreneur to entertain guests at a café in her sitting room and also to seek tranquility in a private sewing workshop. Plus, visit a storied maison that once was home to a noted film director. In gracious spaces and charming nooks, inspiration abounds for fostering loveliness and nurturing creativity.
