What a way to end the year: Railway Modeller has an exclusive interview with none other than rock legend Sir Rod Stewart, who reminiscences about his early railway experiences and his continued love of structure modelling in particular. The Railway of the Month showcases a layout that will make its exhibition debut at the Warley Show at the NEC – an O gauge model of Nafferton, on the Hull to Bridlington line. The Plan of the Month feature commences a short series on modelling Barnsley's railways through the ages, beginning with the long-closed Court House station. The Scale Drawings accompany a look at the County Donegal railways, which closed 60 years ago: Ian Beattie plans of the last two railcars, which went on to operate in the Isle of Man.
