It is quite possible that you will not enjoy the pictorial theme in the July issue of BM, because snakes tend to cause revulsion in many people. There is a natural reason why that is so, and there is a spiritual reason also. The activity of "that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world" (Rev 12.9) can be seen clearly in the turbulent national and international affairs of the day, and we need to be reminded of his methods. In a day when it is difficult to know "what is truth" (Jn 18.38), we can rest in the words of the Lord Jesus: "thy word is truth" (Jn 17.17). This issue of BM, as always, brings to you careful exposition of the Scriptures, and we trust you will blessed as you read it.
