In the January issue of Airliner World we look behind the scenes at the Fort Lauderdale-based ultra low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines and we visit Las Vegas/McCarran International Airport, gateway to the gambling capital of the world. Maintaining our US theme, we join American Airlines on its inaugural Boeing 777-300ER flight from London to Los Angeles and sample its new Business Class offering. We also have a selection of images from one of Arizona’s largest airliner storage and scrapping facilities at Pinal Airpark.

In the latest edition, Airliner World profiles the privately-owned Iranian operator Zagros Airlines and we hear how Proflight Zambia is expanding its network across Central Africa.
