VICKERS WELLESLEY
Adorning the cover of FlyPast November 2026 is an eye-catching, colourised image of Vickers Wellesley K7717 ‘148’. The distinctive monoplane – some would call it a uniquely British-looking creation – was manufactured during the mid-to-late 1930s and, despite an outdated appearance, played its part during World War Two.
